Sub: My disappointments with your government even after being a supporter of your party
Dear Sir,
Greetings of the day!
I am Yukti Belwal, a well informed AAP supporter from East of Delhi. Since the commence of your party I have been supporting your party with whatever devotion of time and enthusiasm and influencing people around me about your ideologies, your areas of concerns which are different than of previous ruling parties and your competitors. Even my dad was one of the thousand people whom I have pursued to believe in AAP and for once give vote to other than his favourite party which is BJP (although he didn't listen to me).
I have never been a blind follower of yours, but I always find your POV in the interviews agreeable and opinions matched with mine but since few days, I have been disappointed. I am not liking my own city Delhi after staying here for 25 years.
Reason being it has become dirtier and it has become more dirty day by day.
Please don't give me reasons about Centre not paying salaries to MCD and they are making Delhi dirty. I didn't vote you to live in a city like this...I voted to raise my city and my standard of living.
Delhi is undergoing with so much development here and there. Somewhere it is because of metro, somewhere because the cables are being put underground, somewhere there is new underpass is being built and because of this its impossible to walk on roads.
I wish to request you something, kindly visit east of Delhi...from Mansarovar park metro station to Guru Tegh Bahadur Hospital (one of the Delhi's biggest government hospital) and you will face what problems the general public is facing.
Being a woman I have followed ODD EVEN without taking the leverage of the exceptions given, because I wanted to be the part of its success. Now before reviving the ODD EVEN formula again please think about the pedestrians.
I appreciate Delhi Government initiative of providing free medicine in the Government Hospitals and Mohalla Clinic but please first try to eradicate the reasons with which Delhi residents getting sick by maintaining cleanliness and avoiding dust creating activities.
There is an under pass which connects General Hospital to Vivek Vihar, its been in under construction state for more than 1.5 years. I had high hopes from your government but every thing seems a facade to me now.
There is a big hospital of Rajiv Gandhi Cancer hospital, the road connecting to it are still not lit with street lights as promised.
I understand that you have new states to win over like Punjab but you need to take care of the people who have voted for you and gave you and your party the confidence to win over other states.
You need to first intact the faith of the people who have showed the faith in you already.
I thought of posting pictures of what is the situation but no, I want you to come down and see it for yourself and take correct action.
Please don't let me down sir.
Regards
Yukti Belwal
